The Chalet
Accessible all year thanks to a tarred road, the chalet is surrounded by a lush environment and wooded pastures; it remains nonetheless close (~ 400m) to the tourist activities of the Vue des Alpes Pass and is in immediate proximity of the “Chemin des Cretes”. Surrounding the chalet (1200m2) is private property.
The spot is very quiet and ideal for hikes, cross country biking or skiing, downhill skiing…or just relaxing.
The chalet is comfortable without being luxurious. Four people can occupy it with ease and it can welcome up to six people. The main floor has a dining area, a kitchen and bathroom. The shower is located in the basement. On the first floor there is 2 small bedroom with each time 2 beds as well as a area that are not totally closed off, each with a double bed. Each sleeping area has its own window.
Animals are not allowed.
The beds are of excellent quality: spring mattress and virgin wool, with memory of shape, or foam according to the beds
All that a running household would need to be functional is to found: dishes, kitchen utensils, Dishwasher, Cooker vitreous ceramic, oven with warm air, WIFI, CD player, a few games…
Heating is provided by a heat pump
Solar panels generate clean electricity
Three cars can be parked on the private driveway. In case of snow, the renter is responsible to shovel the snow for access to the Chalet. Due to the way it is equipped, its comfort, its furniture, its character…,
the Swiss tourist office has awarded three stars superior to this chalet! In general, renting starts mid-afternoon on the day of arrival until lunch time on the day of departure (bedding removed by the renters).
