The Vue des Alpes

Situated between Neuchatel and La Chaux de Fonds, The Vue des Alpes pass (“View of the Alps pass”), 1289m, rightfully deserves its name since from there the whole panorama of the Alps can be admired. Turning around, you will have a beautiful view of the Jura, the Jura Neuchatelois and France.
In the winter, cross country ski trails are available for kids as well as adults. Since December 2016, there are also 2 children’s ski lifts available. Also to be enjoyed there are also snow toboggan opportunities. Bugnenets the field of skilifts are a 10 minutes with car.
During the other seasons of the year, there are many options for hiking and mountain biking in the pasture or the forest. Le Chemin des Cretes (the ridge trail) allows you to follow the ridge of the Jura chain for a few dozen kilometers. Since August 2003, the Vue des Alpes is equipped with a giant slide measuring 700m long (check out www.toboggans.ch).
